Network Marketing: Why The Experts Recommend It

We can all agree that these two men are experts at what they do. They are bold, successful, powerful, rich, influential, world travelers, investors- all in all they have their stuff together and I agree that they are worth listening to.

I love the quote:

In this case, I certainly wouldn’t mind trading places with either of this men. Would you?

That being said:

why on earth are these experts recommending network marketing if it’s all just a pyramid scheme and a scam and gonna ruin my life??

Well, I’m afraid to disappoint you but network marketing is one of the fastest growing business models, and it’s catching the eye of experts. Ya know, the people who see things and join into things before everyone else does always make the most money. Think about it.

Donald Trump explains how years ago, franchising was opposed by the majority of people. Many questioned the legitimacy of it, yet today everyone know’s what McDonalds is. Network Marketing, being a new business model, is experiencing the same opposition that fanchising had years ago. People are questioning if it’s a scam/scheme or not.

Donald Trump specifically says:

“My recommendation is to keep an open mind, and if you are looking to start your own business, a network marketing business might be right for you.” &

“My nutshell advice about network marketing is to do your research and then put everything you’ve got into your product. Genuine enthusiasm is hard to beat, and the odds will be with you.”

Isn’t Network Marketing A Pyramid Scheme?!

This is my number one objection that I face in this industry. Let me de-mystify this myth once and for all…..

Corporations are really pyramid schemes, a corporation has only one person at the top, usually the CEO and everyone else below. It would look like the below picture :

Now let’s compare that to a network marketing business system:

You see, everyone starts at the bottom and with the true purpose of network marketing- you pull yourself up to the top. At the top there could be many, many people all earning the same income. A true network marketing business is the exact opposite of a traditional business model. A network marketing business is designed to literally bring you up to the top, not keep you at the bottom. Truly the business wouldn’t succeed unless it brings people up to the top.

Additional Advantages to Network Marketing

1. Tax breaks. You gain the tax advantages of the rich when you start a network marketing business. A person with a part-time business can take more tax deductions than an employee can. For example, you may be able to deduct car expenses, vacations, gas, some meals and entertainment, computers, phones. Obviously, check with your CPA for exact rulings in your situation.
2. Surround yourself with like-minded people. An important part of becoming who you want to be is surrounding yourself with those who encourage you and want the same thing.
3. Allow yourself time. It takes time to become successful in anything you do. As it takes time to climb the corporate ladder, it takes time in network marketing- only difference if YOU are in control of how fast or slow you go. Hmm…did someone say job security? I think so!
4. Network Marketing companies are patient. A beautiful thing about network marketing companies is they will invest in you whether you are successful or not. In the corporate world if you are not producing or successful in say 3-6 months, you’d be fired. In network marketing, as long as you are willing to put in time, most companies will work with you on your personal development. After all, they want each and every one of you at the top!
5. Leverage. The system is all set up for you already, it’s tried and proven and this allows you to hit the ground running as soon as you join. Can you imagine trying to build your own internal system of a new company? No thanks!

Remember to have the foresight enough to not join a company with competition, or a product that the majority of people wouldn’t really want or will become obsolete.
